Theatrical Reading in Athens – 20/4/2015
On Monday, April 20, ETHAL, in collaboration with the Embassy of Cyprus in Athens, presented two of the award-winning plays from the 2nd One-Act Playwriting Competition in Memory of Kosti Kolotas in the form of a theatrical reading.
The plays performed were “The Bench” (2nd Prize) by Charalambos Sachtouris, directed by Elias Dimitriou, featuring actors Vangelio Andreadaki, Loukia Michalopoulou, and Nikos Georgakis, and “Desdemona’s Handkerchief” (3rd Prize) by Vasilis Boudouris, directed by ETHAL’s Artistic Director Minas Tigkilis, featuring actresses Marina Vronti, Panayiota Papageorgiou, and Salome Aroditou.
