Theatrical Monologue Competition in Memory of Kostis Kolotas

ETHAL, wishing to honor the memory of the great theater man and educator, Kostis Kolotas, established the "One-Act Play Competition in Memory of Kostis Kolotas."

3rd Competition

The "3rd One-Act Play Competition in Memory of Kostis Kolotas" was organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Limassol and the Cyprus Centre of the International Theatre Institute, with 32 one-act plays submitted from Cyprus and Greece.

According to the jury's reasoning, consisting of Titos Kolotas (Kolotas family), Katerina Voskaridou, Loula Kalogeraki, Doros Iroas (members of the Board of Directors and ETHAL), Maria Kyriakou (director), Leandros Taliotis (director, representative of the Cyprus Centre of the International Theatre Institute), and Minas Tigkilis (Managing Director of ETHAL):

- 1st Prize: Ilias Maroutsis for his work "Pasiphae." (Another work by Ilias Maroutsis, "Hotel AUSTRIA," received an honorary mention in the 2nd Competition.)
- 2nd Prize: Lazaros Bikas for his work "Fire Talks"
- 3rd Prize: Jointly to Panagiotis Gouberis for his works "Forgiveness" and "Mothers"
