ETHAL presented the playwright Sakis Serefas

ETHAL’s Reading Club organized an open event featuring Sakis Serefas at ETHAL’s Technochoros on Saturday, September 25, 2010, at 11:30 a.m., with the main discussion focused on his play Mam.

His play Mam (winner of the “Karolos Koun” award in 2007 from the Greek Theatre Critics Association) was staged at the “Amore” theatre, directed by Eleni Boza, in October 2006.

Sakis Serefas has written and staged several plays, as well as the screenplay for the feature film Roulemane, which was filmed in 2004 and directed by Panos Karkanevatos. His poems and prose have been translated into English, French, German, Italian, and Swedish. He is a member of the Hellenic Authors’ Society and an editorial consultant for the American literary magazine Absinthe.
