Cyprus Theatre Museum and ETHAL Library
The Limassol Theatre Development Company (ETHAL), in its effort to support the operation of the Cyprus Theatre Museum, which is being established in Limassol, has decided to donate its archive, which includes more than 650 texts of plays by Cypriot and foreign playwrights.
The archive includes, among others, works by Aristophanes, Goldoni, Ibsen, Labiche, Brecht, Williams, Pinter, Shakespeare, Strindberg, Chekhov, Feydeau, as well as works by Diagelmenos, Kampanellis, Staikos, Tsikliropoulos, Psathas from Greece, and Anayiotou, Antonopoulos, Mousteris, Pitsillides, Fotios, and others from Cyprus.
ETHAL will also offer the almost complete Theatrical Library of the performances of Spyros Evangelatos’ Amphitheatre, including the program and the texts of the plays that were presented.
